Family Workshop – Mosaic Birdbath

This new workshop is designed for family participation! Makers age 8 and up with adult 18+ will learn from a mosaic artist how to create their own functional garden sculpture. Compose color and pattern in ceramic tesserae, set your design in weatherproof adhesive, and grout the finished surface. Then take home a functional bird bath suitable to live outdoors and hold water. Each workshop participant requires one ticket purchase and receives one bird bath base. Practice safe hand tool technique, tile nipping and shaping, color relationships, pattern recognition, adhesive setting and spacing, grouting, cleaning and finishing. Reserve your spot now! All workshops now require a minimum of 50% of available tickets to be sold or the workshop may be cancelled 24 hours in advance of its scheduled date/time.
