The Community Advisory Committee at The Makers Hub is comprised of members of the Greater Compton Community that are dedicated to improving the lives of others through outreach and community service.
One of our core values is Community, which means we strive to reflect the community we serve by actively listening to their voices and welcoming them to the table to shape the programs and services we offer. We are not here to tell our community members what they need or want; we are here to listen and do our best to serve. Every action we take is guided by your friends and neighbors on our Advisory Committee, who provide us with valuable insights into the needs and desires of the community.

Community is about working together to accomplish something great. We are incredibly fortunate to have great partnerships with other organizations focused on building up our community. Our Partners are organizations focused on providing services throughout the Greater Compton Area, who we work with frequently on various projects around the community. Together, we can accomplish anything.
Our Community Partners can count on us to be there with our tools, equipment, and volunteers. Community Partners are dedicated to lifting each other up, sharing resources, and creating a more vibrant community together. Whether it is spreading the word about programs or helping each other at events, we are here for each other – as partners and as equals.
