Students learn woodworking, sewing, laser cutting, digital design, and more while working on real projects that build confidence and spark new interests.

The club helps young people discover their strengths, experiment with tools and ideas, and connect with mentors who encourage creativity, leadership, and career exploration.

Each week brings something new to try, giving students room to follow their curiosity and see what they enjoy most.

Career Connections is a key part of the Makers Hub Club, giving students direct exposure to professionals working in creative industries and the skilled trades.

Through guest speakers, hands on demonstrations, and open conversations, students learn what different career paths look like in the real world and what skills or training can help them get there.

These experiences broaden their understanding of what is possible beyond traditional routes and show them how their interests in making, designing, or building can translate into meaningful work.

By meeting people who use these skills every day, students gain insight, encouragement, and a clearer sense of the opportunities waiting for them.

Maker's Fair

The Makers Fair is where students bring their new skills to life through entrepreneurship. After learning new skills in the Makers Hub Club, students create their own products and share them with the community at a school wide fair.

This experience introduces them to pricing, presentation, and customer engagement, giving them a real understanding of what it takes to turn an idea into something people want to buy.
